Wedding Storybook

One of the many things that separates us from all the other photographers in the area is that the bride and groom do not have to spend weeks or months after the wedding agonizing over which images and sizes they should choose for their bridal album design.  We design their bridal album and we use virtually all the images we photograph and have the album ready for them in about 8 weeks after the ceremony.  Today's brides and grooms are busier than ever and simply do not have the time to design a bridal album.  We get positive comments from our clients about how glad they were that we use this time-saving method.

The Wedding Storybook is the heart of your photography coverage at the ceremony site.  It begins when the bride has completed dressing and is ready for her 1st formal portrait and ends when the bride and groom leave for the reception.  We capture romantic and traditional color images in our award winning approach.  The Wedding Storybook is very comprehensive and may be all you'll need for your wedding photography coverage.   The leather album is a flush-mount style with gold or silver hand-gilded edges.  Flush-mount style is a show stopper beauty and is sure to wow you and your friends.

We tell your wedding story by appropriate use of different size images.  Because all the best images that we take that day are used in the bridal album, you will not need to purchase proofs and a proof album, thus saving a very substantial amount.  And there is only one album to carry around.  All of the images and sizes are carefully selected and placed to tell the story of your day.

We distinguish ourselves from other studios by providing everything it takes to tell your wedding story.  Other studios would have you choose among the following:  "x" hours of coverage, an album having several choices of page quantities, prints to put on the pages, image sizes of 8x10 vs. 5x7, proofs you would like to keep, etc.

How are you supposed to know how much time it takes to cover your wedding?  or how many prints of what sizes to adequately tell the finest story of your life?

We eliminate the confusion and after-wedding surprises by including everything for the Wedding Storybook.  The Wedding Storybook has the versatility to provide a great album filled with at least 70 treasured images (no duplicates).

Everything is included in the Wedding Storybook--our time at the ceremony site (a liberal 5 hour max), the best of all the images we take, a custom flush-mount Bridal Album, album layout design, and preparation of a slide show of your images with original music for loan or sale.   [Optional cost Chapters, such as b&w photojournalism of the bride getting ready, b&w casuals, and 1 hour reception coverage can be added.]

All the above is included in the $2165 investment.  You also receive a complimentary engagement session with 2 prints.  For a list of the Wedding Storybook features and comparison to other studio's prices, click on What's the Investment?

B&W Photojournalism Bridal Preparation

In the bride's dressing room at the church, we take black and white vignettes and special touches of the bridal preparation.  This photojournalistic style is one of the more popular chapters that brides add to their Wedding Storybook.

This chapter will add 4 20"x10" pages to the Bridal Album with at least 30 b&w images.   Each page reveals more and more details: your getting ready at the church, putting on your wedding dress, fixing your hair, getting the makeup just right, your bridesmaids helping, details of your dress, headpiece, shoes, garter, interactions with mom or your maid of honor, a private moment in thought and so on.

These black and white images are tastefully added to the extra album pages in varying image sizes to document the bridal preparation

Everything is included in the b&w photojournalist bridal prep chapter--our time in the dressing room with the bride at the ceremony site, the best of the images we take, album layout design, a more expansive Bridal Album, and incorporating images in to the Storybook Wedding slide show.

This optional cost Chapter may be added to the Wedding Storybook for $430.

B&W Formal & Casual Poses

Color images show you what the wedding day looked like while black and white images show you what it felt like.

You may wish to add a black and white chapter to the Wedding Storybook if you are fond of having some black and white images in your album that have a stronger emotional appeal.  You may tell us what poses you would like in black and white or we will use our professional judgment.

The b&w chapter adds about 2 20"x10" pages to the bridal album with around 15 images in varying sizes.  The images usually involve the bride, groom, and their parents.

Everything is included in the B&W Formal & Casual chapter--our time to plan and create the b&w images, the best of the images we take, album layout design, a more expansive Bridal Album, and incorporating images into the Storybook Wedding slide show.

This optional cost Chapter may be added to the Wedding Storybook for $185.     Back

Reception Coverage

The reception is usually the most expensive part of a wedding.  So, it is no wonder that many clients want to have at least some of the reception professionally covered.  Certainly table top disposable cameras can be fun and Uncle Bill, who loves to take pictures, can produce some fine images.  However, many do not want to leave the reception coverage to chance and ask for some professional reception coverage.

1 Hour Coverage
We have covered many, many receptions and the organization style varied tremendously.  Some were very well organized and we were able to take a wonderful assortment of reception scenes in one hour.  On the other hand, some were so loosely organized that virtually nothing happened for over an hour.

We can provide advice on how you can make the reception an organized event that will not only be appreciated by the guests but also will allow you to seriously consider 1 hour photographic coverage.

The style that we use to cover a reception is best described as a fusion of candids and photojournalism.  We capture images of friends and loved one being themselves in their unique and fun ways.  We do not interfere with the event nor ask guests to look at the camera.  While we will honor a request by the bride and groom or their parents to photograph a posed couple or a group, that style is the exception rather than the rule.

The variety of scenes that can be photographed in 1 hour reception coverage include the reception site--inside and out, the table settings,
persons helping serve, attendant of  the gift table, hosts,  photographs of food serving area, cake cutting, toasts, and bride & groom's first dance (if planned that early).

The 1 hour reception chapter will add about 5 20"x10" pages to the Bridal Album with about 25-30 images.

Everything is included in the 1 Hour Reception Coverage Chapter--our time at the reception site, the best of the images we take, album layout design, a more expansive Bridal Album, incorporating images into the Storybook Wedding slide show.

This optional cost Chapter may be added to the Wedding Storybook for $450.      Back

When is bridal album done?

We do the album layout using all the best images and our years of professional wedding album design experiences.  There is no need for you to spend months deciding which images and what sizes to put into an album.

This last point is certainly well recognized by recent brides and grooms who are both working and simply do not have the time to go over a proof album and pick and choose images and sizes for their album.  Our goal is to complete the bridal album in less than 10 weeks.    Back.
